Medications and Side Effects

Ok, I know I am not the only one that has talked about this and I know I will not be the last one either. Have you ever listened to the commercials on TV or the radio for medications and then they list or more like rattle off a list of "possible" side effects. Kinda funny how they breeze over some like they are no big deal. Think I would rather deal with the ailment than put up with the possible side effects.

For example, take Requip. This is for restless leg syndrome. Ok I may suffer from this or ADHD or just the fact that I do not like to sit still. I don't know. But one of the potential side effect of this drug is "an increase or new urge to gamble". How in the world did they figure this one out? Seems odd that a medication would make you want to gamble! I can see the conversation now. Honey, I have good news and bad news. The good news is that my restless leg medicine worked. The bad news is that Big Pussy and Paulie Walnuts are on the way over to break my legs cause I am into him for a lot of money from betting on games etc..... Wont have to worry about moving around now!
(Side note... If you are asking yourself who Big Pussy and Paulie are, where the hell have you been for the past 8 years!)

The other than I think is funny are the Viagra ones. Where they say if you have an erection that lasts for more then fours hours to call your doctor. To hell with that, I am gonna call the wife, girlfriend or whoever. Why let a good thing go to waste! Ok all you medical people out there reading this (if anyone reads this), I know that this a serious condition and needs to be taken care, but hey, take advantage of it while you can!!!

I could go on and on about all of the others out there, but I think you all get the picture. So feel free to post funny or odd side effects.....
